On today’s ride I was joined by:

This was a short ride with significant climbing. It was also the first day leading to 3 days without any real grocery shopping. So, while it was a short day, it was an important one.
After grocery shopping we headed over to Karen’s favourite store in Revelstoke, Revy Outdoor. Ernie picked up a new sleeping pad. Steve, the owner, helped me pick a new pair of hiking shoes – my new Italian pumps. Quite sharp don’t you think?
Then it was time to hit the road. A short ride and we got to Canyon Hot Springs – home for the night. No sooner had we set up camp before we had a visitor of the 4-legged variety. Yup, Yogi came wandering through, right beside my tent. Sorry Yogi, no picinic baskets for you!
